- 2nd Annual Fishing Tournament
Time: 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
Coordinator - Glen Bolognese
Ages : Two Age Groups: 5-11 & 12-16 (all
entrants must have adult supervision)
Place : The two Britton Farms Park Ponds at Britton Farms & Davidson Rds.
Equipment : Bring your own rod(s), reel(s), hooks, sinkers, floats
Limitations : Two rods per entrant. Catch and release only. No bathroom
facilities. No artificial lures allowed. Bring a bucket to store the fish
(until their release).
Prizes : (4) $25.00 cash prizes per each age group for the heaviest, longest,
most unusual (as determined by Ted Barrows, Contest Judge) and most caught.
There will be a special prize for the longest fish of the day.
Association will provide : worms, cold drinks and snacks
Registration : Sign in @ 9:00am on August 7 at the shelter house for ONLY the
preregistered entrants (that e-mailed Glen Bolognese by July 31).
Volunteers to assist and participate in the administration on August 7 are
welcome and greatly appreciated. Please e-mail glencbolognese@yahoo.com if
you'd like to help out.
The objective of this "event" is to make the kids have a GREAT and memorable
day!

Pictures will be taken of the winners for the BFHA website. Glen will issue a
report on the results of the tournament.

- 1st Annual Pet Parade and Contest
Start: Brandamore
Ct (where the bike parade starts)
Proceed down Britton Farms Dr sidewalk
End: at the shelter house @ BF Park (between the two ponds)
Prizes to be awarded for
the following:
1- Owner who looks most like their pet
2- Best dressed pet
3- Best behaved pet
4- Cutest pet
5- Best tricks pet
Four judges will decide the winners at the
park. Awards and ribbons will also be issued.
There will be other events at the park too. Pictures of the winners will be
taken and posted on the BFHA website.
BFHA will provide "poop bags", water for the
pets, various pet treats and coupons for Petland, sodas on ice & cookies for the
owners.
